DECEMBER 2015 UPDATE

In December of 2015, CARE was formed and a small steering committee began the work of fundraising, coordinating volunteers, and submitting an application to sponsor a Syrian refugee family to the Almaguin area.
FEBRUARY 2016 UPDATE

February was a busy month! We hosted three public information sessions (in Sundridge, South River, and Burk's Falls) where we met lots of amazing people who have become volunteers. We also hosted our first fundraising event "A Syrian Experience" which was a real success!
